Chuchi

Since Brice was about a month old I started calling him Chuchi. Not really sure why, or even where I got it from, it just seemed to fit. Then on my birthday Brandon took me to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and I figured it out! That's where I heard Chuchi Face!



But now I think we have called him that TOO much, and he thinks his name is Chuchi and not Brice. He doesn't really respond to Brice but we're working on it!

I can't believe Brice is 1 already. This year flew by so fast. Saturday we went to the circus so that Sunday we could just stay home and relax with presents and cake. He never really made it to the actual cake but got quite the sugar high off of the frosting.

The rest of the night he ran around the house with his walker. He likes to do laps from the hallway to the kitchen.

Food and Football

I'm a little late posting this, but better late than never! Last Friday was bring your dad to lunch day at Cody's school. Brandon was the only dad in Cody's class that went, one of Cody's friends had his grandparents come. Brandon was able to eat lunch with Cody in the cafeteria while the rest of his class went back to the classroom. His teacher told them to take their time, play on the playground when they were done, whatever. I think they had about an hour, so when they were done eating Cody showed Brandon why he is not allowed on the swings anymore. He gets going about as high as he can and then jumps off!! Then he had Brandon grab him and run under him so he would swing even higher. It seems like it was just last summer that Cody couldn't even swing by himself on the swing at home, and now he's a daredevil. Here are the pictures that Brandon took with his phone.

He was so excited that his dad came to eat lunch and play on the playground with him, and I am so glad that Brandon was able to go.

Play Date

Our friend Lucas came over to play tonight. He won't let me hold him, only Brandon. Brice and Lucas played with the stacking cups and the busy ball popper. Brice is so excited to be playing with his friend!

Cody's Swing

So I came home tonight and went in Cody's room to see what he was up to. He was tying his jump rope around his big stuffed frog. The other end was wrapped around the shelf in the closet. When I asked him what he was doing, he said, "making a swing". Oh of course! We let him do it a couple times and then had him take it down.

It's Wednesday

Today I am working and the boys are going to the zoo. Brandon is off today, going back on days tomorrow, and Cody gets out of school at 12:30. He will LOVE having daddy all to him self, Brice will probably sleep the whole time.

We started transitioning Brice to milk, I hope we can be done with formula soon because it's SO expensive. He seems to love eating real food but only when it's mine! If it's on his own plate he wants nothing to do with it, but if it's on mommy's plate he grabs the whole thing! We'll get there eventually I'm sure. He also has one top tooth poking through, and is getting over pink eye...AGAIN. One more month and all this sickness should be over.

Cody is doing well in school, next Friday is bring you dad to lunch day! And Monday we pick up our packets for the science fair. I'm leaning towards making a volcano since I've never done that. We'll see what Cody wants to do, but maybe I can convince him that volcano's are cool ;)
