Baseball!!!

Recently my company decided to lease a suite at the Isotopes Baseball Park here in Albuquerque.  We were fortunate to be able to go to one of the first home games.  It was funny because a few days before we went, Brandon had just explained baseball to Cody and how it worked.  He was so excited.  We were the first ones to show up so we took some pictures, and the suite manager had the mascot, Orbit, come up to see the kids.  Cody keeps asking when we get to go back!

These were taken with Brandon's phone so they're not the greatest, but you get the idea!  Unfortunately Brandon got really sick the next day, we're thinking it may have been the saaurkraut from the hot dogs.  It was his first time having it.

A small update and a request

So you may know that we are starting the process (again) to get full custody of Cody before we move.  We are doing what is called a full custody evaluation.  We (the parents and Cody) will be looked at from all angles and scrutenized to see which household is better for Cody to live in.  The process will officially start on May 1st and be done by the end of June, just in time for us to go on our vacay.

I don't want to go into all of the horrible details on the internet until everything is finished, and even then I don't think we can talk too much about it.  Here is my request:  Please pray that this process goes as smoothly as possible for Cody and that everything turns out for his best interest.  Please pray for the safety and well being of our family throughout this process and that no harm will come to us.

Thank you very much.

Easter

Here some pictures of the boys and all of their Easter goodies.

Saturday we went to base to do the egg hunt, but they did early so when we got there it was over.  Cody was sad so we went to Target and got eggs to hide in the yard.  I don't think we needed to get 60 of them, but oh well!  It was fun watching them get the eggs.  Brice was more concerned with the wagon so Cody shared the eggs that he found.

Easter morning Cody thought that the bunny didn't come to our house, but luckily mom knew where to look!

We tried taking some official pictures but they didn't really feel like it.

Radio Flyer

Step 1: walk up to the side of the wagon

Step 2: Climb in
Step 3: Turn around and hang on!

Been Awhile...

Sorry for being a slacker on keeping up with this. Between working, running, and in-laws coming it's been on the back burner.

A few weeks ago we went to see the Circus. Brice loved it right away but didn't really get into until the end when the elephants came out.

As you probably know, I have been training for the San Diego Rock N Roll Marathon that is happening in June. It is so hard to keep up with the training schedule, especially during the week. We are up to 7 miles during the week. Getting off work at 5 when it is cold and extremely windy is not helping me at all. This weekend's run is 11 miles, I think I'm going to go on Saturday since Sunday is Easter. But I'm also going to an hour earlier so we can make it to the Easter egg hunt on base.

Last week Brandon's parents and Grandma came to visit from Oregon. They drove down here and spent the week. I was at least able to take a half day off on Wednesday so we could go bowling. We had Cody answer the door when they got in and he hid behind it with a huge smile. Brice reached his arms out for his Grandma. We weren't sure what he was going to think. It was nice not having to cook for a whole, and we still have leftovers we're going through!!
